Sadly, the Migrate Easy app doesn't work in W7. I'd mount both old and new drives as slaves in a workshop computer - the new drive out of the box, untouched, unformatted - and the process would run in Windows. I used it most often when a customer had a failing drive. This was my app of choice during my XP days, and never let me down, whether the clone was to a smaller or larger drive. For anyone using Windows XP, I can guarantee a successful and stress-free clone job if Acronis Migrate Easy is used.
